I am not used to appealing for help but here goes. I am a mother of 3 grown boys. I have lived threw some hard times (havent we all). Somehow I have always gotten threw.

Most of my life I have worked taking care of others. As a teenager I cared for animals and babysat for neighbors.  I latter got certified and worked taking care of the elderly in their homes and at several differnt nursing homes. When I got married I started working in the nursery at our church also teaching Awana to the Cubbies.(pre-school age). When I had my first child I opened my home to take care of others children while they went off to work.  The little arch Day Care....where my focus was on learning how to be kind to others, to respect people, nature and things. I believed in play and structured and unstructured learning threw play and activities. I have always loved children, elderly and animals. I would still be taking care of children today but I had some unfortunate cercomstances in my life.....which ended with  diagnosis of Mental Illness (depression,Panic anxiety dissorder) Fibromyalgia and narcolepsy.  Today I am 50 and on Social security dissability. Trying to live on 1000. a month and hang on to my home.

I fell behind on my taxes and my mortgage paid them up current but also brought my small mortgage payment of 233. a month to 623.00.  I am on medicare and have perscription assistance, but medicare doesnt cover as much as one would think. I qualified for Minnesota assistance then my boys grew up. I qualified for Qualified Med Assistance....but part of that program covers my Medicare med premium of 100.00 .....so It raised my income to 1000. a month which is too much. so they put me on a spend down program that I now need to pay the first $333.00 of my medical costs a month first then they will cover the rest...Is this in sane? I do go regular to several doctors to manage my illnesses but who can pay 333.00 a month in medical bills.  That is a problem I am trying to work out but it isnt really the pressing issue im facing today.

My air conditioner went out a couple years ago and I found a condenser at a reuse it center a year or more ago. Funds prevented me from getting it installed so It has just been sitting in the garage. To better my financial situation I am renting out a couple rooms and that is helping with the added expenses that have happend recently, if that only worked as well as I hoped. This economy...my renters have lost jobs...turned out to be more problems because of addictions....and so on. Finally I think I have a couple good renters in here. One woman also on Social security and struggling and a 40 year old man recovering from alcoholism...he has 1 year!!!Yea!

Now back to my air conditioning. My oldest was supposed to be able to install it but he told me I still needed a evaporator coil and a line set. Also possibly free on to charge the system. I have been looking on craigs list and calling Hvac places and the lowest cost I have found is 450.00 for just the coil and lineset. I am now searching for low income grants for home owners to help me but gosh I think I need help sorting threw that whole tangled mess...lol.  That is where I found this sight. So I thought ok I will humble myself...and here I am.

I also have another pressing issue. With out going into great detail. A few years ago I met a man who I truely thought was my happily ever after. He moved up here and he worked in the painting trade. Work was slow and thinking he was as invested as I was I agreed that with all this free time on his hands to take out a mortgage on my paid for home....35,000. later.  That is where my small mortgage came in. He started projects around the house that needed to be done....but also many that didnt....like a shed and a 20 ft deck. Well he never did actively seek out work he had no plans too. He said he was too old to change professions and wasnt going to work for nothing when the UNION SHOULD BE CALLING HIM BACK SOON..... well the money ran out. All of a sudden his brother in Texas wanted him to come down and help him with his buisness. I over herd the conversation he was having to find out he was planning on leaving as soon as his brother sent up some money.  I hadnt even been aware of the request. So ok...I agreed since he was going to send money but all changed when the Hurricane went threw the shipping channel and galvaston where his mother lived so I sent him down on the little bit of money I had. He never came back. 

My home owners insurance doubled from 700 a year to 1500 so I changed providers.....then an inspector came here to take pictures only to inform my my deck is not conforming. It has no rails and I have been given a month to get it right.

I am hoping that a grant will cover that cost too but.....I really dont know. If anyone has some solutions for me.......someone to call regaurding home grants...cheep cheep cheep supplies...... I have nothing really to trade...unless I could do some data entry or something to do with computor or phone? I could make a home cooked meal? Meals? Your laundry?

Well thats it....my plee. I am a good listener....if anyone just needs a friend. I am not sure what else I need to do here...do I list my e-mail?

hi my name is tracey and am seeking financal help as there has been some huge changes in my life the last 6months and am finding it hard to cope.My 22 year old daughter was incarcerated and i am now full time carer for my beautiful grandson dj 3years old.I had a good paying job in the mines driving dumptrucks week on week off on my week off i would spent it with my daughter cassie and dj.I fought in the federal and family court to keep dj does not now his father and has substance abuse problems in the past and i could not bare to see dj go to live with him so with help i was successful in my application for 2yrs and then renewed.I live in a housin commission home now and have many bills a bank loan,rego ,and several others not real big but a lot if you have not enough ,its coming up xmas and i worried if anyone could help it would be truly appreciated.

Hello there well I am in some serious debt off over 35 thousand pounds yeh your thinking how did I get myself into that mess,silly really i know and a lesson learnt I guess the hard way.

I do work but really need to get my teeth fixed which is going to cost over 8 tousand pounds and I really dont have that kind of money

hi i dont know how to put it nore do i want to tell long sorry story so keep both of our emotions and stress levels. i will make it short, i need help to get forward, just a little help to pay rent and to have extra food for myfamily this holiday. i live with my daughter that 28 years old and my 4 grandchildren,and also my son that is 14 years old. my exhusband recently hit him in the face and now cps is threating to take him from us and this was the same man that molested my daughter that i live with now. the sytem fail me and he is still on the loose. but, in the mean time we cant affor the rent and have very little food for all of us this holiday. oh the landlord is not helping either she keeps raising the rent every month and always theating to evict us. its so hard i just wish some one can help my children and show them there is a GOD

I live in Biloxi, Mississippi. I am sick, on 14 medications, have no insurance and unable to work. I go to college and am trying, but thing are really bad this month. I need help with my electric bill and telephone bill. It comes to about $125, but that is alot to me. If I could have anything I wanted or Christmas, it would be help paying these 2 bills. You don'tknow how much that would help.
